| The Managing Director, Mr.
Pichet Patanawasin, graduated with a Master's degree in U.S.A.;
and, while there, was already working actively in the audio field. He returned
to Thailand in 1980 to found the Audio Com. Group
Company Limited. In our experience, the consumer demand for high quality audio products can only be met by focusing on specially selected Hi-End products. At the first stage we worked closely with Pro-Ac. In 1987 we went on to work with Dynaudio, of Denmark, with which we were very successful and popularized this brand name in Thailand. At the same time, we represented Audio Quest, maintaining close contacts with Mr. Bill E. Low of this company from 1977 onwards; and were the first to introduce the top class Wilson Audio speakers into the Thailand market. At the present time we are carrying Cardas Cable from the U.S.A. - having worked in close collaboration with George Cardas over the past ten years. This is one of the highest ranking audio cables, receiving a Class A recommendation from "Stereophile" the U.S. Hi-End journal. Recently, we have come to represent Vienna Acoustics, of Austria, well known for their foremost Hi-End and A/V speaker systems. In the mid range we carry Triangle speakers from France, especially the Titus speaker series, which have received a Class B recommendation from "Stereophile." In our opinion Triangle are by far the best speakers obtainable below US$ 2,000 - in fact, selling below US$ 500. In short, we have pursued our policy of importing only specially selected audio components into Thailand. In future we intend to aim at "price no objective" Hi-End products. In supporting electronics we have LFD Mistral integrated amplifiers, and Exposure amplifiers: both well known brands from the U.K., which are now among the most popular in Thailand. |
